Draper Technology Showcase of 2017
Engineering Possibilities 2017
Engineering Possibilities is an annual interactive technology exhibit where Draper's bold innovations—spanning space travel, autonomous systems, and medical breakthroughs—came to life for the public through immersive experiences.

EP17, Draper’s annual technology showcase, featured a variety of innovations from space exploration to autonomous drones, and that year, the exhibit also highlighted several interactive elements that I contributed to. Visitors experienced multiple animations I created, which brought to life the groundbreaking technologies on display, offering an engaging visual journey through Draper's latest developments. In addition to the animations, I designed marketing materials that helped guide attendees through the event, ensuring they got the most out of their experience.
One of the standout aspects of the exhibit was an interactive game I developed, allowing participants to actively engage with the technology on display. The game offered a hands-on way for visitors to explore the future of autonomous vehicles, space travel, and more, all while learning about the cutting-edge innovations that were shaping our world. These immersive experiences were designed to spark curiosity and provide an exciting glimpse into the future.
The event ran from October 4–7 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and drew a great crowd eager to engage with the latest advancements. Draper’s showcase proved to be a memorable, interactive experience that left a lasting impression on everyone who attended.
A 3D animation showcasing Draper's PREDICT96 platform, an advanced human-organ-system technology built for high-throughput drug testing. Featuring 96 tissue modules and 192 integrated pumps, the system recreates human-like conditions to help developers identify successful therapies earlier and streamline the path to clinical trials.
A 3D animation illustrating Draper's IDAST™ technology, designed to revolutionize the diagnosis of bacterial infections. By enabling rapid identification and antimicrobial susceptibility testing in under an hour, IDAST empowers doctors to make immediate, evidence-based decisions, reducing antibiotic misuse and potentially saving lives. The animation visualizes the system’s innovative optical probes and microfluidic processing, highlighting its impact on patient care and combating antibiotic resistance.
A 3D animation showcasing Draper’s innovative microfluidic platform for CAR T-cell therapy manufacturing. By incorporating techniques like acoustophoresis and accelerated genetic material transfer, the platform streamlines the production process, enabling faster, safer, and more affordable cell therapy development. The animation illustrates how Draper’s technology addresses the complex challenges of scaling CAR T-cell production while maintaining high quality, bringing cutting-edge cancer treatments closer to patients.
